With Mother’s Day just around the corner, let’s take some time to think about what the kids can put together to put a smile on mom’s face.
By taking some time each day to play with our children, to draw with them, to write with them, and to read together, we can open the door for their thoughts to expose themselves, and in this way we can share the fact that we ourselves feel very much the same way.
In thinking about activities to do with children in the next couple of weeks, Earth Day and spring come to mind.
It is certainly disappointing that our quarantine times are continuing. As a teacher, I miss being in the classroom and seeing the children very much.
I have been thinking about you every day and missing your smiles, your stories, your children. I hope that you are all feeling healthy and not worrying too much.
